Poem : Forsaken Heart.

Year to year, the centuries near though no escape from the twist and turns of fate; so often, too often misplaced, misstep how many more moons has the waves swept? In reach, out of reach one lifetime or another will we continue to pretend or be dissatisfied with another? The blood given, taken; so many lifetimes mistaken are we forsaken? The whispers upon the wind tell of a beginning and an end. Guardian, friend or foe, choose the direction, which way to go. Treason , betrayal words bitter or sugar sweet. Maybe a task incomplete. Another day, month, or year? Watch it slip by like silent tears. The heart beat , the soul , never an answer , never control. The choice, the chance of being complete. A liaison of love or hate , that transpired through portals of time no right or wrong just heartache and pain; time never heals this battlefield, the scars are plain to see, but hearts have no knowledge they just know joy or pain. This game of love transcends distance of time and place, but is there an ending that changes face?
