Poem: The Storm

The clouds move in and the thunder rolls the sky painted hues of black and gray, it hypnotizes and betrays those wicked storms now set ablaze. The wind howls and calls to its prey making the world seem trapped in a haze. The rain pours down washing away the sins of so many days gone astray. The lightening chases across the sky causing chills to multiply, the crackling sounds of heaven rushing by. The trees bending down looking as if surrendering and not wishing to make a sound. The caresses and thrills of a power beyond the reach of the depths of a mortals conscious webs. Raging on with no concern of what moves on beneath its path as tracks proving its wrath. Soon silence comes to meet all ears, mother nature has subsided her tears…-
