Writing a Synopsis

Oh all the good times of writing a book and finishing it! Thanks for stopping in. The synopsis of a book Isn’t as bad as a query or blurb on the back of the book; at least to me anyway. You have more breathing room and options to an extent. So let’s get to it! Firstly a synopsis is basically the over all plot and description of your book. In this you can included more detail oriented summaries of your work compared to a query.

They tend to be between 500-1000 words, should be in third person,in present tense, reveal as much as you can about your book , state the genre, and display the style and uniqueness of your project. Start with a great introduction to your book and the genre. Don’t stress about it. Just write it out in your own style. I will likely add onto this later. This is just basic thanks for reading.
