Poem: Luna

Lingering in the sky above with wide smiles and wide o’s, grandmother moon cycles too and fro. Bringing silver delight against the darkened world around. Always watching silently without a single sound. No matter the blunders of humanity’s plight there she stays from night and day. Perhaps a little lonely but maybe not at all. Humans watch the heavens above and make their silent pleas, the moon has seen eons and wouldn’t it be unique if old Luna could truly speak.
